change timeline 9 patches
- Head hit volume increased from 14.8 to 17.
- Torso hit volume increased from 19.7 to 25.
- Leg hit volumes increased from 15.5 to 19.
- Waist hit volume increased from 15.9 to 20.
- Can now be manually cancelled with the Jump input after 0.6 seconds.
- Base pull speed reduced from 30 to 25 meters per second.
- Targets pulled from further than 15 meters move slower and accelerate over time.
- New general hero setting added for disabling Life Grip cancel controls.
These changes give Life Gripped players greater control over whether they are pulled all the way to Lifeweaver's position. The pull now begins more gradually, creating a larger window to react and cancel the movement if desired. A new hero setting has also been added for players who prefer to disable the cancel option entirely.
- Fixed a bug where Healing Blossom would release unexpectedly when switching weapons.
Superbloom – Major Perk
- Moved to base kit.
Arboreal Affliction – Major Perk
- New - Enemies who are stuck with Superbloom explosions now receive 20% less healing for 1 second.
- Reload time reduced from 1.5s to 0.75s.
- Can now be controlled by allies riding the platform by pressing Interact.
- Pulses of healing now also reduce allied cooldowns by 2 seconds per pulse and increase enemy cooldowns by 2 seconds. Only abilities which are on cooldown are affected.
Lifeweaver has always felt a bit clunky, so these changes to his weapons should help. The enhanced Petal Platform control should allow the platform to be used to reach more interesting angles. Tree of Life should be able to be used both offensively and defensively in order to enhance his carry potential. Right now it feels like a weaker version of other defensive support ults, so these changes give the ultimate its own identity.
- Ultimate cost increased by 9%.
- Overhealth conversion rate from overhealing reduced from 100% to 50%.
Improvements to Lifeweaver’s healing have increased his ultimate charge rate. Increasing the ultimate cost adjusts for this, while also reverting a previous change to Tree of Life’s overhealth conversion that made the ultimate too strong in sustained healing.
- Maximum healing increased from 80 to 90.
- Healing increased from 45 to 55.
- Now cleanses allies when pulled.
- Cooldown reduced from 14 to 11 seconds.
Lifeweaver has struggled to find effectiveness following reductions to his survivability and the introduction of in‑combat healing reduction. Increasing his overall healing output and adding a cleanse to Life Grip provides him with additional survivability and utility in his base kit.
- Lifeweaver's scale has been reduced by 50%.
- Health reduced from 200 to 75.
- Shields reduced from 50 to 25.
- Allies pulled by Life Grip get shrunk for 5 seconds after being pulled.
- Petal Platform's scale has been reduced by 50%.
- Health reduced from 300 to 150.
- Tree of Life's scale has been reduced by 50%.
- Health reduced from 1200 to 600.
Lifeweaver's size was scaled down in a previous patch. We believe we did not go nearly far enough.
Tree of Life
- Overhealth conversion rate from overhealing increased from 50% to 100%.
Lifeweaving – Minor Perk
- Removed.
Cleansing Grasp – Minor Perk
- Removed.
Petal Power – Major Perk
- Removed.
Petal Protection – Minor Perk

Dashing Escape – Minor Perk
- Rejuvenating Dash distance increased by 30%.
Sow the Seed – Major Perk
- Quick Melee with Healing Blossom equipped tosses a seed forward.
- Allies who pick up a seed gain 75 overhealth and 25% movement speed for 5 seconds.
Increasing Tree of Life’s overhealing conversion improves the reliability of its overhealth gain.
- Model and hit volume size reduced by 8%
Healing Blossom/Thorn Volley
- Automatic reload time for the inactive weapon reduced from 2.5 seconds to 2 seconds
- Time between weapon swap reduced from 0.25 seconds to 0.125 seconds
Lifeweaver’s larger model made him much easier to hit than most supports. With his lower health pool, this hitbox reduction offsets that loss in survivability, while weapon swap improvements make his gameplay smoother and more responsive.
